How Barrel Racing Payouts Work
Barrel racing payouts vary by division format. In a standard 4D format, the fastest time sets the baseline. Subsequent divisions are determined by adding time to that baseline (e.g., 1D = fastest, 2D = +0.5s, 3D = +1.0s, 4D = +1.5s).
Purse distribution typically follows percentage-based splits within each division. Absolute Rodeo calculates these automatically based on your configured payout tables, entry fees, added money, and any jackpot contributions.
Side pots and incentives are calculated independently and can use different payout structures than the main class.
